Project planning activity requires the involvement of Engineering/Design , Production , PPC, Store & Purchase for gathering the information & executing things accordingly.



Engineering/Design department shares the excel Bill Of Materials or put it in SAP-ERP of different projects being executed simultaneously. PPC uses the same to consolidate the total fabrication parts, Hardware , BOP etc. & checks with the store on availability of respective items required for execution of project. Using the consolidated reports store checks the shortage & reports the same to purchase department for procurement. Purchase department shares the requirement to different vendors & get the lead time of delivery of the same.


The above process requires utmost accuracy so as to minimize the raw material scrap & reduce time for the GO-TO Market. In most of the case the planning is done manually which takes a lot of time & are much prone to errors.
